Watercolour classes beginning in April, beginner friendly.
My classes are designed to help you on your Watercolour journey, I am there to help you understand and learn Watercolour techniques, to give you hints, tips and advice. With practice and growing confidence you will find your own unique style.
Watercolour is a beautiful medium and once you begin to let yourself go and stop worrying about mistakes that is when the magic happens! Explore this wonderful medium to see amazing results, understand the special effects that you can achieve to create gorgeous atmospheric landscapes and seascapes.
Remember we are all individuals and see things differently, I encourage all students to find and develop their own Watercolour style, remember we are all individuals and see things differently.

Class Content – what we’ll be learning!
In these classes, we will be learning lots of new and exciting techniques to create seascapes. Below is an example of some of the watercolour techniques we will use to create some beautiful seascape scenes.
In the classes, I will be demonstrating each stage, step by step and helping each of you learn the techniques to create your finished piece. All whilst having lots of fun along the way!

Class Progress!
I’m really enjoying teaching all the students currently taking my watercolour classes in Moneyreagh. Seascape techniques are so much fun to teach and I hope you are all enjoying learning these! Some of the techniques we have covered so far are:
- Wet on wet washes for sea and sky
- Lifting out techniques for waves and highlights
- Masking off areas for sea foam, sea spray and fine details
